Mac is a 25-year-old artist living in Maine, with roots that stretch across the Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, and Chickasaw nations. Growing up in many places, but always carrying her culture with her, she found her way back to her community after more than a decade away, where she reconnected through Wabanaki art. Taught the foundations of painting by her grandmother, she now blends tradition with her own perspective, focusing primarily on Wabanaki curve designs. Her work highlights the stories, values, and beauty of her culture while offering a glimpse into her own mind and journey. Through each piece, she shares the power of connection and the importance of keeping traditions alive. By creating and sharing her art, she seeks to empower others to embrace their own heritage and community
