The Department of Communication and Journalism and Decolonizing UMaine is sponsoring an educational presentation and discussion with Barbara Kates.

 Come consider our shared history and learn about the groundbreaking Maine-Wabanaki State Child Welfare Truth and Reconcilliation Commission (TRC) as a process of truth, healing and change."

Join Barbara Kates as she presents on how the work of the Maine-Wabanaki State Child TRC stems from a history of colonization and invites us to envision what decolonization might look like.
