We are so excited to announce that our theater group will perform a staged reading of the play The Rez Sisters by Cree playwright Tomson Highway on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Sockalexis building at Penobscot Nation.
This award winning play is a powerful and moving portrayal of seven women from a reserve attempting to beat the odds by winning at THE BIGGEST BINGO IN THE WORLD!
This event is open to the public and free. We are instead asking folks to make a donation to Grandmother's Love to support Wabanaki people.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, Performance at 6:00 PM. We hope to see you there!
