Karin Spitfire is the author of Standing with Trees and was the Poet Laureate of Belfast in 2007 & 08. A dream inspired her to start making books. PRESS ON represents a culmination in Spitfire’s development as a conceptual book artist, letterpress printer, and paper maker; it also marks the beginning of an adventure in the creation of a series of seven large-scale sculptural books of which this is the first.
