Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage with a few of the women who created Wabanaki REACH and the historic Maine Wabanaki-State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The documentary film about their work, Dawnland, will be available to view online prior to the panel discussion. 

Dawnland is a documentary about the Maine Wabanaki-State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). Film makers Adam Mazo and Ben Pender-Cudlip follow the TRC to contemporary Wabanaki communities to witness intimate, sacred moments of truth-telling and healing.

The feature-length documentary will be available to view from October 7-11, 2021 prior to the scheduled panel discussion with Wabanaki REACH team members on October 11th (Indigenous People's Day).  

This event is open to the public - Space is limited and registration is required.
